This year marks my fifth decade on the trail. The improvements in the quality of hiking equipment over those decades is truly amazing. One thing that hasn’t changed for me is the excitement of exploring new trails and seeing what’s beyond the next horizon.

My goal is to be as informative as possible in presenting topics of interest to you. The big challenge, other than hitting the trail, is making sure you are hiking equipped for the journey.
